Become a Host
Share a recipe you already cook with a small group at your table. Read how it works below, then create your account when you're ready.
How hosting works
- Create an account and confirm your email.
- Add your neighbourhood (public), private address, photos, and first meal.
- Connect card payouts in Host Studio → Payments before guests can pay.
- Approve seat requests, host the meal, guests leave with the recipe.
Who can host: adults who can legally host a small paid/shared meal at their address and accept responsibility for food safety and house rules. HostMeals does not inspect kitchens or certify food handlers — see the Host Terms.
Fees (illustrative): you set the price. Example: $80 × 4 guests = $320 gross. HostMeals keeps 10% ($32) for the site and card costs; you keep about $288 before ingredients and any taxes you owe. Details: Payments & cancellations.
Publication: after you verify email and finish setup (profile, required photos, first meal), your page can go live for bookings. That is not an identity check, background check, or food-safety certification — email verification only. We may follow up or suspend a listing if something looks off.
